Our next class starts February / March 2025.  Classes will be at various locations, dates and times to be determined..

Our programs offers you the opportunity to train your own dog as a Service Dog. We teach dog owners how to work with their own dogs and convert them from a pet into a Service Dog. This allows owners to strengthen their bond with their dog and builds the dog's ability to respond to the owner's needs. This is the most cost efficient way of obtaining a Service Dog.

This is a 20 class program scheduled over 40 weeks.  This program is presented in partnership with MSAR and the Canadian Association of Service Dog Trainers, Medical service Dogs International and is accredited by Yellow Quill University in Manatoba.

Handlers will be assigned homework between classes.  Keeping up with the training is crucial to your success. Simply attending the classes not sufficient.  We recommend a minimum of 10 hours of training per week, spread out in short training sessions very day.  We will ask your dogs if you did your homework and they never not lie to us. The Schedule will be flexible in order to accommodate for weather, holidays an anything unforeseen; however, classes will be approximately every 2 weeks.  We train in public spaces: malls, stores, parks and in downtown settings.

Target Test date is December 2025.

Please see Program Requirements below.

Fully & Partially Trained Service Dogs

We have access to fully or partially trained Service Dogs and can match clients with dogs that will meet their needs.

A Partly trained Service Dogs means that they have learned most of what they need to know.  In some cases even partially the tasks required.  The remainder of the training will be provided by Complete K9 in conjunction with the handler as part of our Owner Training program. A fully trained dog have learned all it needs to know including the tasks required.  All that remains is the pairing with their handler.

Certification Preparation

Have you trained your own Service Dog and are getting Ready for your Provincial Certification?  Maybe you and your Service Dog are due to re-certify and want to brush up on your skills.  We offer classes that help prepare you to attain Provincial Certification. This is a 4 week program, additional Classe are provided if needed.  The start times are flexible in order to prepare you for the date of your certification.
